Advancing Quality has been shortlisted for its second national award of the year.
The programme, which is live across the North West, is one of three entries to be shortlisted for the Measuring Excellence category in the Guardian Public Services Award 2013.
Now in their 10th year, the Public Services Awards reward innovation and impact in all public services and have been recognised as a gold standard of achievement for people working in public service teams.
Advancing Quality has also been shortlisted for Enhancing Care by Sharing Data and Information in the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards 2013.
David Fillingham, AQuA Chief Executive, said:
“It is an honour to have AQuA’s flagship programme shortlisted for two national awards this year. Whether we win or not, it is still a testament to all AQ teams across the North West who are committed to ensuring their patients get the possible care by implementing the AQ approach.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 12 November 2013.
